I can’t believe the holidays are nearly over! My 3 months of holidays have passed by in what feels like 3 weeks! So much has happened, I went to Belgium, Normandy, changed host families, Paris, Camping in Gastes with my friends, Les Sables D’olonne and finally Sweden! It’s safe to say that these holiday’s have been packed chocablocka and it’s about time I go back back to school.<\/p>\n
Yikes. School. What is that thing again?<\/p>\n
I have mixed feelings about going back, I loved Le\u00a0Le lyc\u00e9e but I’m stressing out a bit because I wont be with my old class. I loved my other class, everyone was great, I’m just worried that I won’t be so lucky this time. School starts next Tuesday and so all the family is so slowly getting back into a normal sleeping pattern and shopping school supplies.<\/p>\n
I have spent the week playing with Mellysandre and Flo, they have little been like barnacles and I can’t shake them off even if I wanted too. I was made to babysit Flo’s doll today. Every five minutes she would check on me to make sure her doll was okay, so I always had to watch. But the thing is, normally I wouldn’t mind – I love to play with kids – but this doll is scary as. Straight out of a horror film scary.<\/p>\n
Other than being terrorised by dolls, everything has been going smoothly and I am loving my host family (even if the 4 girls constant high pitch squabbling gets on my nerves at times).<\/p>\n
Dad got me a subscription to a website focusing on french grammar called Kwizq, which I’ve been using a lot and I am seeing a difference after just a week! To future exchange students, in order to learn a language, even being in a country where the language is spoken, you still need to take the time to learn phrase and sentence structures.
