I caught the train back to Bordeaux with no hassles this time (thank goodness). Most of the day was spent on the train, I was totally wiped out and slept nearly all of the train ride and the drive back home. The following few days were spent packing my suitcases because I would be changing host families on the 21st June. Friday marked half way through my exchange and now with each day, I am closer to going back to NZ than I was having been here! On Saturday Emma arrived and I finally got to meet her. Emma is the eldest child in my host family and has been travelling around for the last 6 months. It’s because of her arrival that I have to go – I am in her bedroom. Emma was so caring and nice, but I honestly didn’t see much of her as she started working long days at a factory straight away.
Not much else happened this week, I was just packing up and resting a bit after my exciting trip last week.
